Fluidized Bed Separation for Precise Density-Based Sorting

This density-based separator uses a fluidized bed principle: upward airflow fluidizes material on an oscillating deck, causing heavier sound particles to sink and lighter defects to rise. Deck motion conveys fractions in opposite directions, effectively removing moldy, insect-damaged, shriveled, and broken grains. Ideal for materials identical in size but different in density.

The Gravity Separator achieves a documented selection rate of ≥98.5% for cleaned product, recovering sound material while rejecting contaminants. For seed producers, this means higher germination rates; for grain processors, cleaner product for milling.
